MADxLANE is an alternative rock band hailing from Bordeaux, in the southwest of France.

Formed in 2007 under the name « Les Gonz’à l’aise », the original lineup featured Alex and Jav’ on guitar, Cyril on vocals and piano, José on drums, and Sadam, later replaced by David, on bass. Between 2009 and 2012, the drummer and bassist left the group. AdriZ joined as the drummer, Jav’ switch to bass guitar. With Cyril, Jav’, Alex, and AdriZ, the band became MADxLANE.

These four passionate musicians share their love for music every week — or almost — carving out a creative escape amidst their busy professional lives. They initially joined various local associations before settling for five years with « L’Estran » in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles. Where they experienced some of their most memorable gigs and happiest moments.

Their sound? A powerful fusion of rock, metal, and alternative. Inspired by legendary bands like Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, and Audioslave.

While they started with covers, their true passion lies in creating original music. Writing, composing, and refining their sound is where they thrive. Over the years, they’ve amassed a collection of original tracks, some waiting to be polished, others finally recorded.

In 2024, MADxLANE reached a major milestone, recording in a renowned Bordeaux studio — a dream come true for the band!

After 17 years of performing on local stages, MADxLANE is finally releasing their debut EP, « Deep Roost ». Under the independent label « Flower Power Prod’ Action ». This four-track mini-album strikes a delicate balance between brutal emotion and soothing moments, blending intense words with introspection.

The first single, “Voices”, released on December 13, is a true emotional release. The track dives deep into inner struggles — anger, confusion, even madness — and transforms them into a liberating force. Powered by explosive rhythms and an unforgettable melody, « Voices » invites listeners to scream, move, and let go.
